Thank you letter from Luna Animal Rescue

Luna Animal rescue would like to say Thank you for the very kind donation we received at your AGM. We were overwhelmed at the support we have received from Letchworth Dog Training Club in the past year.

We have decided as a charity that the funds you raised will be spent on one of our rescue dogs – Mia. Mia was abandoned in a pound in 2016 and was rescued by Luna. After a short while it became apparent that Mia was suffering from some established fear based aggression. Mia has been working on a one to one basis with a behaviourist to begin resolving her issues. Mia is still a way off being able to be rehomed, but with the funding you have provided we hope that we will achieve this soon.

Many Thanks once again from everyone at Luna Animal Rescue for your support.

InterClub Match Schedule and Entry Form

About an Agility Match

An Agility Match is a small scale show, where the entry is limited to the members of the participating clubs – in this case Letchworth, BATS, Milton Keynes and Wellingborough.

As with Kennel Club shows, dogs must be registered with the Kennel Club, although we accept pet names on the entry forms. A dog that holds an Agility Certificate is not eligible for a Match.

There will be two rings, agility and jumping. Classes are organised by grade, there being several classes for which each dog is eligible.

Dogs are awarded points for each result in their class; the winning club is the one with the highest points tally.

We are the current holders of the Inter Club shield.

2016 Charity

Luna Animal Rescue

Our 2016 charity will be Luna Animal Rescue.

Luna are based in Royston, Hertfordshire and work together to save dogs in UK pounds and from local people that need to re-home their pets for whatever reason. They are a voluntary non-profit organisation, with a non-destruct policy (they will not put down a healthy well-balanced animal). All dogs that are re-homed through Luna have a lifetime of rescue backup, whether it is behavioural issues or a change of circumstances they offer help and guidance. All their dogs are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated and vet checked.
